AGL Côte d’Ivoire announces the appointment of Bamba Calimou as Director of Transport Solutions. Prior to his appointment, Bamba Calimou served as Deputy Director of Cross-Functional Functions at AGL Côte d’Ivoire. In his new role, he will be responsible for coordinating all transport operations of AGL Côte d’Ivoire across the country and ensuring the optimization of internal processes to improve operational efficiency and guarantee customer satisfaction.
With over 25 years of experience in the transport and logistics sector, Bamba Calimou will work to implement comprehensive logistics solutions for the reception of goods, transfer, and delivery of parcels in Abidjan, throughout the country, and to the hinterland, with a particular focus on innovation and digitalization.
Holder of an Engineering Degree in International Trade and a Master’s in Business Organization, Bamba Calimou joined AGL Côte d’Ivoire in 1998. Over the years, he has held strategic positions in various areas such as handling, customs clearance, maritime, air, and export transit, courier services, moving, and quality auditing, giving him a thorough understanding of transport and logistics professions.
