The personal data collected includes your last name, first name, job title, and professional email address.
Recipients
The recipients of your personal data are the internal departments (in France and abroad) of AFRICA GLOBAL LOGISTICS, as well as service providers to whom all or part of the operation of the RIDE mobile application is outsourced, and affiliates of AFRICA GLOBAL LOGISTICS when necessary for the performance of their duties.
As part of making the mobile application available on the Google Play Store, Google acts as a data processor for the distribution of the application. Consequently, some of your personal data may be shared with Google services to enable the download and management of the application via the Play Store.
Additionally, the RIDE mobile application uses Google Maps services to provide location features. As such, Google, in its capacity as a data processor, may also receive certain location data necessary for the proper functioning of the application.
We ensure that these data transfers and sharing are carried out in compliance with GDPR requirements. This includes ensuring that Google adheres to applicable data protection standards as defined by the GDPR.

Cookies and Connection Logs
Cookies are small text files assigned to your browser that collect login and visitor tracking information (including IP address, browsing history, and geolocation data, when permitted by applicable regulations).

AFRICA GLOBAL LOGISTICS may include services from Google in the application to enhance the user experience. AFRICA GLOBAL LOGISTICS does not control the process used by Google to collect information related to your use of the application.

International Transfers
Due to the international scope of AFRICA GLOBAL LOGISTICS, some of your personal data may be transferred to recipients located outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”). These transfers will be made exclusively for the purposes defined above.
Such transfers may be authorized by a decision of the European Commission, when the Commission has recognized that the country to which your personal data is transferred ensures an adequate level of protection.

The RIDE mobile application is available in the following African countries:

Data Retention Period
Your personal data will be retained for three (3) years from the date of collection, unless a longer retention period is required by law, and only for the purpose described in Article 2 above.
It is specified that this duration does not preclude the application of a longer retention period when your personal data is collected and processed by AFRICA GLOBAL LOGISTICS or its affiliates for another processing purpose.

YOUR RIGHTS
You have the following rights:
The right to access your personal data. However, exercising this right does not entitle you to access personal data relating to other individuals;
The right to rectify and the right to erase your personal data. This right may only be exercised to correct factual data, the accuracy of which can be verified by the data controller based on supporting evidence;
The right to restrict processing;
The right to request the transfer of your personal data to another data controller (right to data portability). This only applies to personal data provided by the individual based on their consent or a contract;
The right to object to the processing of your personal data, when such processing is not necessary for compliance with a legal obligation or the performance of a contract, and subject to demonstrating reasons related to your particular situation;

ACCOUNT DELETION REQUIREMENTS
The RIDE Application allows each user to create an account once the application is downloaded. Similarly, each user may request the deletion of their account.
To this end, the RIDE Application provides each user with the following contact address: FR029-Assistance_Ride_Mobile@aglgroup.com, where they can send a request for account deletion. The technical support team commits to processing this request as quickly as possible and confirming the deletion once completed.
When we delete an account at the user's request, we also delete all associated user data collected.
We may retain certain personal data when necessary to comply with legal obligations, ensure security, prevent fraud, or meet other regulatory requirements. In such cases, data retention is strictly limited to the time necessary to fulfill these obligations, and you are transparently informed through this privacy policy.
