Africa Global Logistics (AGL) as part of its partnership with the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has implemented the “Youth Program”, an initiative designed to offer several young people from disadvantaged backgrounds in the host country of the Total Energies AFCON 2023, the opportunity to fully live the experience of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2023).
On the occasion of this continental tournament, AGL provided stadium tickets to more than 1,000 young people from associations and non-governmental organizations (“Love Your Neighbor” in Bouaké, “SOS Village” in Abidjan, “Girls’ Orphanage” in Grand-Bassam), as well as students from prestigious schools including the Regional Academy of Marine Sciences and Techniques, the Ecole de Transit, the Houphouët Boigny National Polytechnic Institute, and the Universities of Yamoussoukro and Bouaké.
With this program, AGL is renewing its commitment to youth, allowing young people from diverse backgrounds, including those from disadvantaged backgrounds, to experience unique moments of joy and enthusiasm during the AFCON that Côte d’Ivoire is hosting 40 years after the 1984 edition.
As a partner of African football, the company continues to position this king sport in Africa, as a vector of solidarity and development of young people, with the desire to promote the culture of excellence among young people.
