CAMRAIL, concessionaire of the Cameroonian railway and subsidiary of Africa Global Logistics, is pleased to announce that it participated with enthusiasm and responsibility in the activities marking the celebration of the Day of the African Child on Thursday, June 13, 2024 in Douala, alongside the National Association of the Disabled in Solidarity of Cameroon and many guests gathered in the premises of the Douala 4th City Hall.

On this occasion, CAMRAIL handed over school kits to 383 children, including children with disabilities or children born to parents in a similar situation, internally displaced children or simply vulnerable children.

Worth 500,000 CFA francs, the school kits made available to the National Association of the Disabled in Cameroon were essentially made up of notebooks, books, academic boxes, pens and pencils as agreed by the two parties.

As a reminder, CAMRAIL and the National Association of Disabled Solidarity of Cameroon are bound by an agreement signed last year for a period of 2 years. Through the said association, it is a question of supporting educational efforts in favor of children with disabilities and thus giving them a chance, like all other children, to succeed.

It is in this context that since the concession of the Cameroonian railway in 1999, CAMRAIL has offered donations to many associations, schools and hospitals as well as orphanages throughout the national territory and particularly within the communities bordering the railway.
