Successful delivery of seven oversized dumpers in Senegal
AGL Senegal carried out a major logistics operation in July 2024, once again illustrating its expertise. A team of young Senegalese collaborators worked on this project to ensure its success. To achieve this, they managed the study phases, route reconnaissance and logistics planning, including human, IT and material resources.
Their work resulted in the on-time delivery of seven (7) Dumpers to the customer’s site, after a journey of more than 700 kilometers. Every preliminary step has been carefully planned to avoid port congestion, minimize risks and meet the client’s schedule.
«We are pleased with this transaction, which strengthens our position as a leading provider of tailor-made logistics solutions for complex operations for out-of-gauge cargoes. We are fortunate to have young Senegalese executives at AGL Senegal who are competent, committed and resourceful, which allows us to provide appropriate solutions» Pascal Grellier, Regional Sales and Marketing Director (Senegal, Mali, Mauritania and The Gambia)
Our partner praised the professionalism of our teams who carried out this delicate operation in strict compliance with environmental and QHSE standards.
AGL SENEGAL has voluntarily chosen to integrate local partners in the framework of these operations with a view to their gradual ramp-up. This operation benefited from the support of the various administrative authorities in charge of supervising this type of project.
AGL thanks its client who has placed their trust in it, as well as all the other stakeholders. Participation in the logistics of these structuring projects is an additional source of motivation for the company’s employees and a concrete contribution to the economic and industrial development of Senegal.
