SITARAIL ISO 9001 certified for the quality of rail freight transport
SITARAIL, the railway subsidiary of Africa Global Logistics (AGL), obtained ISO 9001 version 2015 certification on quality management on May 20, 2024, for its “Rail Freight Transport” activity. This certification awarded by the audit firm Apave was materialized on August 02, 2024 in Abidjan, by the presentation of the certificate to the first managers of the railway company, in the presence of the Regional Director of AGL Côte d’Ivoire – Burkina Faso, Asta-Rosa CISSÉ, the General Manager of SITARAIL, Simplice ESSOH and several railway workers.
This success is the culmination of a process launched several months ago, during which all employees mobilized around a common objective: to demonstrate its ability and commitment to provide high-quality services, in order to guarantee the satisfaction of its customers and stakeholders. A major work of analysis, formalization and adaptation of SITARAIL’s operational processes has therefore been carried out.

SITARAIL (Société Internationale de Transport Africain-par Rail) is the railway subsidiary of AGL (Africa Global Logistics) which has been operating the railway linking Abidjan (Côte d’Ivoire) and Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso) since August 1995.
