Digital technology to meet USAID’s logistical challenges
In collaboration with USAID (United States Agency for International Development) and the Ministry of Health of Mozambique, AGL has launched two projects aimed at strengthening the logistical efficiency of the Mozambican health system.
The first project, Chegar, provides monthly delivery of medicines to all provinces of Mozambique, including the most remote areas. Thanks to a robust network of more than 100 suppliers using various means of transport such as motorcycles, cars, canoes and others, this project guarantees access to essential medicines for all.
The second project, Amostra, focuses on collecting and transporting more than 200,000 blood samples per month from 1700 health units. These samples are sent to major cities for analysis, with rigorous temperature control to preserve their integrity.
These initiatives go beyond simply delivering medicines and collecting samples. They also include the provision of real-time information for transparent and efficient supply chain management.
Thus, AGL is implementing its Carlo digital solution, relying on the expertise of its teams and its experience in Head & Relief.
