CAMRAIL’S EXPERTISE AT THE SERVICE OF THE IVORIAN RAILWAY COMPANY SITARAIL
CAMRAIL, a subsidiary of Africa Global Logistics and concessionaire of the Cameroonian railway, is proud to announce that the start of the railway maintenance activities proposed by its “Technical Business Unit (TBUT)” are now fully operational.
As part of its maintenance expertise, CAMRAIL provides its customers with a complete range of solutions adapted to a wide variety of equipment. This includes diesel locomotives, various types of wagons, passenger coaches, construction railcars, as well as other tracked equipment.
The dealer offers maintenance, recalibration and refurbishment services for diesel engines, traction motors, various parts of the braking system (KE, brake cylinders, compressors), bearings, axles, various parts of the diesel engine (turbochargers, pumps, power assemblies, cylinder heads, etc.).
It is in this context of maintenance and overhaul of diesel engines that equipment belonging to SITARAIL is expected in the central workshops of Bassa by the end of December 2024. This first wave includes 10 turbochargers for line locomotives, which will be supported by CAMRAIL. Maintenance operations are expected to be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2025.

It is worth recalling that CAMRAIL’s expertise in the maintenance, overhaul and rehabilitation of railway equipment has already been called upon several times by other sub-Saharan railway networks. This is particularly the case for Benin, Gabon and Congo Brazzaville.
