AGL PROVIDES LOGISTICS FOR SEVERAL MRI SCANS FOR THE EQUIPMENT OF HOSPITALS IN CÔTE D’IVOIRE

As part of the Ivorian government’s health policy, AGL Côte d’Ivoire carried out, from October 26 to 29, 2024, the end-to-end logistics of 3 magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) units  and their accessory equipment, ordered by the Ivorian Ministry of Health, via the company General Electric Healthcare. This medical equipment is intended for the equipment of the University Hospital Centers (CHU) of Cocody, Treichville and Angré, in the city of Abidjan.

The AGL Côte d’Ivoire teams, led by Mathieu Kablan from air transit, carried out the transit, storage, storage, delivery and installation of this equipment of more than 32 tons, originating in the United States. This medical equipment will be used to produce high-resolution images to ensure better diagnosis and more effective treatment of several diseases, including cancer, cardiovascular and neurological diseases.

AGL Côte d’Ivoire also carried out the customs clearance procedures for the MRIs as soon as they arrived at the airport, which were then stored in the contract logistics warehouse (Aerohub), before being transported and installed in the various health centers by the lifting service, in charge of exceptional packages.

This medical equipment allows Côte d’Ivoire to have a quality technical platform for optimal medical care of patients in the city of Abidjan, which has about 6 million inhabitants
