AGL PRESENTS ITS SOLUTIONS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE MINING AND ENERGY SECTORS AT SIREXE 2024
Africa Global Logistics (AGL) and its subsidiaries, AGL Côte d’Ivoire, SITARAIL, CARENA and Ayiman Logistics Côte d’Ivoire, are participating from November 27 to December 2, 2024, in Abidjan, as a Gold Sponsor, in the International Exhibition of Extractive and Energy Resources (SIREXE). The event brings together key players in the mining and energy sectors, around the theme: “Sustainable development of the extractive and energy industries: what policies and strategies?”.
This exhibition, which brings together more than 300 exhibitors and 20,000 professional visitors from all over the world, offers AGL the opportunity to present its multimodal logistics solutions for the benefit of players in the energy and extractive industries sector. In line with the vision of the Ivorian government, AGL relies on diversified expertise and innovations to offer an integrated and tailor-made logistics service offer, in order to support its customers in the development of their activities.
The company has 1,710 m² of office space, 25,000 m² of covered warehouse and approximately 100,000 m² of courtyard space, dedicated to the mining and energy sectors, at its logistics bases in Abidjan, San Pédro, Bouaké and Ferkessédougou. These bases are designed for stevedoring, ship and cargo handling, special material handling, value-added warehousing, and fully integrated logistics services.
Committed to the development of local content, AGL has set up, Ayiman Logistics Côte d’Ivoire, a company made up of an Ivorian shareholder, in order to highlight its expertise and its pool of local skills, in accordance with the regulations on local content in Côte d’Ivoire. The company also provides training for Ivorian youth through its Pan-African Port Training Center (CFPP) and offers internship and job opportunities within its structures, thanks to its partnerships with training schools and its strategic partnerships with local subcontractors.
