AGL presents its logistics solutions for the development and industrialization of the cocoa sector at JNCC 2024

Africa Global Logistics (AGL), a leader in the logistics of agricultural products in Côte d’Ivoire, participated, from September 28 to 30, 2024, at the Abidjan Exhibition Center, in the 9th edition of the National Cocoa and Chocolate Days (JNCC) around the theme: “No producers, no cocoa”.

These days, organized each year as a prelude to the opening of the campaign, aim to highlight the role and importance of cocoa in the Ivorian economy, to honor producers and actors in the value chain of this product and to promote innovations and opportunities in the sector in cocoa processing. 

AGL took this opportunity to present its services, infrastructure, innovations and equipment dedicated to cocoa, through B to B meetings, panels and informal discussions with stakeholders in the sector, financial institutions and NGOs committed to the promotion of sustainable cocoa.

Through its multimodal logistics solutions, AGL offers cocoa producers, exporters and industrialists a diversified and integrated logistics service offer, through transport, warehousing, bean processing, bulk stuffing and storytelling, as well as the management of the export process of cocoa and its by-products. AGL also places particular emphasis on innovation by offering, within its warehouses, tailor-made digital solutions, which optimize the coordination of logistics operations and allow real-time estimation of product stocks, to facilitate the processing and management of goods.

The company also has 350,000 m² of modern warehouses, 7 stuffing stations and recognised know-how in the management of cocoa logistics. In addition, thanks to its operational synergies, AGL carries out port handling for the export of cocoa and its by-products through its subsidiaries Abidjan Terminal and Côte d’Ivoire Terminal.
