AGL crosses the threshold of 2500 accident free days

At the end of May 2024, AGL Congo crossed the threshold of 2500 days without an accident with lost time at one of the sites oil companies where it operates. A very good performance achieved over the last seven years on an onshore basis.

AGL deploys more than 70 people on an onshore site of an oil major located more than 36 km from Pointe-Noire in Congo. The company ensures the transport of petroleum equipment, lifting operations, mobilization and demobilization of drilling platforms. Its staff, mainly composed of crane operators, lifting operators, forklift operators, truck drivers and lifting auxiliaries, pay particular attention to compliance with safety rules and the application of work procedures. He puts his expertise to work for the benefit of the client and actively participates in the improvement of its performance in the field.

The zero-accident plan designed and implemented by AGL’s teams is based on the best practices in the sector to guarantee a safe and healthy working environment.
