AGL Bénin and Bénin Terminal mobilize on the occasion of international women’s day
On the occasion of the 2024 edition of International Women’s Day, the Women’s Association of AGL (Africa Global Logistics) in Benin, supported by the General Management of AGL, offered a drinking water borehole to the populations of Dogla-Gbefadji in the commune of Dangbo in the department of Ouémé. On March 6, 2024, at the ceremony of handing over this infrastructure to the beneficiary populations, the delegation of the AGL Women’s Association supported by its General Management seized this opportunity to respond to the requests of the women of the KONDOKPO group of the same locality. The objective is to support the women gathered in this community melting pot to improve their working conditions in order to achieve a certain autonomy.
A brand new motorcycle tricycle, equipment and materials dedicated to the transformation of palm nuts into red oil and various utensils are all tools offered by the AGL Women’s Association in Benin with the support of its General Management to the KONDOKPO women’s group in the commune of Dangbo. This support from AGL in Benin through the Women’s Association responds to the need for mechanized, modern and efficient transport for the collection of palm nuts, from the pick-up sites to the palm oil production and processing site.
At AGL (Africa Global Logistics) in Benin, International Women’s Day is an opportunity to strengthen the commitments of female employees, through the Women’s Association, to bring concrete and solidarity actions in favor of social development.
