Abidjan Terminal, a subsidiary of Africa Global Logistics (AGL) and concessionaire of the 1st container terminal of the Port of Abidjan, received on May 04, 2024, in Abidjan, the Inclusive Leadership Award from the pan-African association Women in Logistics (WILA).

This distinction, which was presented at the 3rd edition of the Wila forum, organized by this association working for the integration of women in the logistics professions, recognizes the port operator’s commitment to inclusion, diversity and female leadership within the company.

This confirms our commitment to supporting diversity and fostering an inclusive environment where every individual feels valued and respected. In the field of education, the operator supports the Miss Mathematics competition, and facilitates the obtaining of advanced training courses but also the financing of projects for the rehabilitation of schools and the granting of school kits.

«Abidjan Terminal has made inclusion and diversity a lever for the success of its company. Through this award, we recognize this unwavering commitment that will serve as a model for other companies in the supply chain, which we encourage to follow suit. Thus, by initiating this kind of meetings in partnership with structures such as Abidjan Terminal, we wish to highlight this sector in order to arouse interest among this segment of the population» Christiane Ohin-Traoré, President of WILA
