PORT OF COTONOU: BENIN TERMINAL OBTAINS TRIPLE ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 CERTIFICATION

Benin Terminal, a subsidiary of AGL (Africa Global Logistics) and operator of the Port of Cotonou container terminal, today announced that it has obtained the certification of its QHSE Integrated Management System according to ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management) standards.

Issued by Bureau Veritas Certification, this triple certification is the culmination of a preliminary audit phase carried out by Bureau Veritas, which sent its experts for several days to the Benin Terminal facilities. Obtaining this triple certification testifies to Benin Terminal’s commitment to the Port of Cotonou, the Beninese State as well as its customers, partners, employees, suppliers, shareholders, etc. to comply with legal, regulatory and contractual requirements in terms of quality, environment and safety. It also reflects the company’s desire to be part of a logic of continuous improvement of its performance and competitiveness.

By obtaining this triple certification, which gives it international recognition of the quality of its QHSE Integrated Management System, Benin Terminal stands out and strengthens its position as a reference player in the port of Cotonou.
