AGL IN GUINEA IS INVESTING IN EDUCATION THROUGH THE INAUGURATION OF A PRIMARY SCHOOL IN MAMOU
Africa Global Logistics in Guinea (AGL) inaugurated this Friday, November 1, 2024, the new Danouwely Kol-Kol Madeleine school of the NGO Guinea Education Bénévolat, located in the Loppet 2 district, Urban Commune of Mamou. The ceremony took place in the presence of Mr. Fabjanko Kokan, Country Director of AGL Guinea, Colonel Aly Badara Camara, Governor of the Mamou region and several executives of the Governorate.
Funded by AGL in Guinea, this school embodies the group’s commitment to sustainable development and education in Guinea. With a capacity of more than 324 students, the new infrastructure consists of nine classrooms, an administrative office, modern sanitary facilities and a multipurpose room. This new educational framework will be intended to provide an environment conducive to student learning, while meeting the essential needs of hygiene and school organization.

The school will also provide free schooling for fifty children of beggars in Mamou, whose annual fees are covered by AGL in Guinea to ensure their daily meals.
The Danouwely Kol-Kol Madeleine school, is a flagship project of the NGO Guinea Education Volunteering, which strives to give disadvantaged children quality educational opportunities. This collaboration between the private sector and civil society is ample evidence that the combined efforts of businesses and civil society organizations can have a positive impact on local communities.
