SITARAIL, a subsidiary of AGL (Africa Global Logistics), as part of its CSR policy to support education and training in Burkina Faso, has offered access codes to the Youscribe digital library for the benefit of students from several higher education institutions in Burkina Faso. The ceremonies for the handing over of these codes took place on September 12, 13 and 19, 2024, respectively in Ouagadougou, Koudougou and Bobo Dioulasso.

A total of 1500 access codes have been granted to 12 schools and structures in Ouagadougou, Koudougou and Bobo Dioulasso. These are the Higher School of Railway Trades (ESMF), the Higher Institute of Technology (IST), the University of Saint Thomas Aquinas (USTA), the Institute of Training in Health and Education Sciences (IFRISSE), the Institute of Information and Communication Sciences and Techniques (ISTIC), the Higher Institute of Communication and Multimedia (ISCOM), the International Institute of Water and Environmental Engineering (2iE),  the National School of Financial Authorities (ENAREF), the Norbert ZONGO University (UNZ), the Nazi Boni University (UNB), the Burkinabe School of Business (EBA) and the Federation of Association of Traders of Train Stations of Burkina Faso (FACGT-BF).

Thanks to these codes, several thousand Burkinabe students now have unlimited online access to more than a million school books, E-books, audiobooks and comics.

«We positively appreciate this handing over of access codes to the Youscribe digital library, by SITARAIL. This is a commendable initiative and to be welcomed. We hope that this can continue. In addition, we call on other structures to follow in SITARAIL's footsteps» Louis Bernard Ouédraogo, Representative of the National School of Financial Authorities (ENAREF)
«This gesture towards the student world is part of our policy to support the learning and training of young people. This donation is a godsend for these young students who will be able to increase their knowledge and integrate the railway, for some, in order to perpetuate the rail professions. » Alexis Ouédraogo, SITARAIL Representative in Burkina Faso

Through this initiative, SITARAIL is renewing its commitment to the training and professional integration of young people in Burkina Faso, thanks to its Higher School of Railway Trades (ESMF) in Bobo Dioulasso, its partnerships with training schools and the granting of scholarships and internships to its departments.
