AGL Gabon commits of the youth of Gabon : recruitment of 40 interns
Africa Global Logistics Gabon (AGL Gabon), in collaboration with the National Employment Promotion Center (PNPE), officially welcomed its interns on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at its headquarters in Libreville.
Launched last June, as part of its social policy in line with the vision of the country’s highest authorities, this internship program aims to recruit and train around forty young people in various professional fields at its different sites in Libreville, Port-Gentil, Franceville, and Moanda.
After a pre-selection phase followed by interviews, the selected candidates benefited from an induction day at AGL Gabon’s headquarters. It was an opportunity for the PNPE to raise awareness among the interns about essential skills for succeeding in the professional world and for AGL to share its advice on CV writing, appropriate workplace behavior, its values, and the importance of AGL’s code of conduct.
By offering young Gabonese the opportunity to acquire practical knowledge and concrete professional experiences, AGL not only contributes to the professional development of local young talent but also to the economic growth and strengthening of Gabon’s social fabric.
«At AGL Gabon, we are convinced that young people are the driving force of our nation and the spearhead of our future development. That's why we take pride in supporting their professional integration and offering them opportunities for learning and development within our company. Through this internship program, we aim not only to contribute to the employability of young Gabonese but also to impart the values and expertise of AGL Gabon, so they can become key players in our shared success.» Patrick Gerenthon, General Manager of AGL Gabon
