Abidjan Terminal listens to its customers to better meet their needs
As part of its policy of listening to customers, Abidjan Terminal, a subsidiary of Africa Global Logistics (AGL), concessionaire of the 1st container terminal of the port of Abidjan, received on June 6, 2024, on its facilities in Vridi, the National Federation of Trade Actors of Côte d’Ivoire (FENACCI). This visit, which follows the signing of a partnership agreement on March 11, 2024 between the two structures, aimed to introduce its trade players to the facilities of the container terminal, the innovations as well as all the provisions implemented on the terminal, to facilitate the smooth running of commercial activities.
These devices include innovative services such as the construction of a modern gatehouse dedicated exclusively to export goods, the implementation of several latest-generation technological devices. These technologies include: gantries with character recognition, capable of identifying each container that enters the park, a mobile scanner installed by customs to control containers before they access the terminal, the use of tablets for the verification of export declarations and also the establishment of reception windows for truck access to the container park.
In addition, Abidjan Terminal’s invoicing service offers merchants the possibility of paying their invoices online and remotely. In addition, Abidjan Terminal has set up a unit that works in close collaboration with all local actors and the various umbrella organizations, with a view to providing them with personalized assistance adapted to their needs and expectations.

The agreement signed in March 2024 between Abidjan Terminal and FENACCI creates a dynamic cooperation framework between the teams of the two entities. It makes it possible to provide merchants with all the information necessary for the smooth running of their operations, thus saving time and better taking care of their operations.
